Week 11 at Kendjam brought a series of fulfilling moments on and off the water. The river was generous, the clarity near perfect, and the range of techniques gave every angler the chance to connect deeply with the experience.
For popper and streamer enthusiasts, peacock bass and bicuda delivered explosive strikes. Dry fly lovers found their rhythm with matrinxã, fast, technical, and rewarding. The jungle offered variety, and the anglers made the most of every lane and seam.
It was a week marked not by record numbers, but by the quality of each connection, a shared feeling among those who’ve traveled far for something more than just fish.

UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT
Some stories feel complete. Steve and Erik ended their three week journey through Brazil with us in Kendjam, after visiting Marié and Pirarucu, wrapping up their adventure with powerful strikes, jungle silence, and water that reflects everything back.
Elsewhere, Gary and Ed fulfilled a long held dream, camping in one of the most remote corners of the Iriri. And a returning group from Marié, Rick, Murphy, Steph, and Gerry, found a new rhythm here, one only Kendjam can offer.
LOOKING AHEAD
With water levels still dropping and more dry fly lanes opening, Kendjam enters the heart of its most visual season. The weeks ahead promise more precision, more variety, and more of those moments that stay with you long after you leave the jungle.
