This week, we welcomed the group from WildMedAdventures, a team dedicated to medical education with a focus on remote and wilderness environments. After previously joining us at Marié last year, they returned to explore Kendjam — blending learning and discovery in one of the most pristine ecosystems on Earth.
The river was at its best, with steady activity across a range of species. Fishing from skiffs and while wading both delivered great results. Anglers found success in classic jungle water — clear, technical, and rewarding. For many, it was a week where the line between adventure and education disappeared entirely.

UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT
On their final fishing session, two guests were gifted one of the rainforest’s rarest sights — a pair of wild jaguars, silent and powerful among the trees. A reminder that here, every cast takes place in a living, breathing wilderness.
LOOKING AHEAD
With the river holding steady and clarity still strong, conditions remain perfect for sight fishing. Dry-fly lanes are opening wider, and more technical action is on the horizon as Kendjam enters the peak of its visual season.
