Visa
Citizens travelling with passports from Australia, Canada and the United States visiting Brazil for tourism and business will be subject to visa requirements for entry into Brazilian territory starting from January 10th, 2024. These citizens can require e-Visas through the portal https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/. The process is easy, and quick and if the requirements mentioned below are met, in a few days the applicant will receive the e-Visa on his or her e-mail
Considerations:
1) Country code: you can check it here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_country_calling_codes
2) OTP (one-time password): it is an automatically generated numeric or alphanumeric string of characters that authenticates a user for a single transaction or login session.
An OTP is more secure than a static password, especially a user-created password, which can be weak and/or reused across multiple accounts.
3) Passport-style photo (2” x 2”, white background) Please check out this tutorial: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/photos.html
Also make certain your passport does not expire within 6 months of your trip.
Vaccine
A Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is recommended to enter any Indian Territory in Brazil but is no longer required.
Insurances
We strongly recommend securing insurance that covers medical contingencies while abroad and cancel for any reason travel insurance.
Baggage
Please do not bring unnecessary weight to the camp. We use charter planes for air transfers to and from the camp and we strictly enforce weight limitations. You will be able to leave items not needed in camp with the hotel concierge in Manaus if you are returning to the hotel at the end of the week. We recommend this for travelling clothes, etc. The camp has daily laundry service, so bringing a lot of clothing is not necessary. There is a strictly-enforced 40-pound weight restriction per person for the charter flights. Please avoid HARD BODY LUGGAGE.
