Arrival in Manaus. Our hostess will be waiting for you at Manaus International Airport (MAO) to welcome you and coordinate your transfer to the hotel. Overnight accommodation at the Juma Ópera Hotel in Manaus, on the night before departure to Kendjam, is included in the package. Accommodation was arranged according to the package purchased, either double or single occupancy. The group will receive all information regarding the next day’s plan at the time of departure, typically departing around 5:30 am 

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. The host will pick up the group at approximately 5:30 am and take you to the local airport to board the private charter Cessna Grand Caravan to Kendjam.

After the 3.5-hour flight, guests will arrive at the Kendjam Indigenous Community landing strip, where our guides and staff will be waiting. The group will head downstream to the Lodge. Anglers will be served sandwiches for lunch during the boat trip downstream to the Lodge. It’s a great trip to the lodge, where anglers will enjoy river scenery, birds, animals, and, of course, lots of fish in the Iriri's clear waters.

Anglers will use this first afternoon to get situated and ready their tackle for the following day. That evening, the fishing team will brief anglers on the daily fishing plans and how the lodge and operation work. 

Each day, individual teams (2 anglers) will head out to fish the Iriri River upstream or downstream in one of the zones our team previously determined. Anglers will share a specially designed aluminum skiff with a fluent English-speaking fly-fishing pro guide and two local native guides. Both anglers can fish at the same time.

6:00 am - Coffee is hot
7:00 am - Breakfast
8:00 am - Head to fishing grounds
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm - Anglers will have a picnic-style lunch on the river.
1 pm - After lunch, fishing resumes until late afternoon, when anglers head back to the lodge, arriving at around 5:00 pm
6:00 pm - Cocktails and appetizers will be served
7:00 pm - Dinner will be served.

Early in the morning, guests will enjoy a full breakfast at 7:00 AM, followed by a boat transfer upstream to the Kendjam community landing strip for their return flight to Manaus

The return flight to Manaus includes a refueling stop at Itaituba Airport. Arrival in Manaus is expected by mid- to late afternoon (assuming no flight delays)

One of our representatives will be waiting for you at Manaus International Airport to welcome you. A transfer will be available to take you to the Juma Ópera Hotel or to another hotel of your choice, according to your reservation. Please note that any additional overnight stays on this day are not included in the package.

If you are departing on the same day as your arrival in Manaus (Saturday), please book flights departing Manaus after 6 pm. Finally, regardless of your departure time, we will transfer you to the international airport.
